Do you know the secret to your life?
One Thing — “Do you know what the secret of your life is?”, Curly (played by the late Jack Palance) asked Mitch (played by Billy Crystal) in the movie City Slickers.
Curly was holding up one finger at that time, and Mitch asks … ‘’What, your finger” Curly, replied, “One Thing, just One Thing, the secret of your life”. Mitch replied, “But what is One Thing?”
Curly replied, smiling, “You have to find that out”.
Reminds me of an old African proverb which says…”There are only two things we need to know — when were we born and why were we born”.
